September 15, 2002 Twenty-eight boats were out this week for some great
fishing. Albacore ran between 20 and 30-lbs. Yellowtail, mixed in with
some dorado, and a few bluefin tuna were also landed. Bottom fishing
is always great, large ling and rock cod being brought in. Towards the
end of the weekend, weather turned a little rough. Seas were fishable
but choppy. Skies were pretty overcast. Todd Pipe & Supply from Garden
Grove, sent a bus trip down with 25 men. As of Sunday, everyone was
happy - a lot of fish being brought back home. |
